Gaspé Peninsula

The Gaspé Peninsula, in , , is sandwiched between the Gulf of St. Lawrence and the adjacent St. Lawrence estuary on the north, and Chaleur Bay to the south.

Popular Destinations

With a population of over 15,000 and a history that stretches back to the dawn of European colonization in what is now Canada, is the largest city and unofficial capital of the region with which it shares its name.

Located at its east end, is the bustling tourist epicentre of the Gaspé Peninsula, with a permanent population around 3,000.

You'll find of Canada at the final of 's Gaspé Peninsula, where the mighty Chic-Choc Mountains collide head-on with the sea.

Located at its outermost extremity, where the St. Lawrence estuary meets the open ocean, is where you'll find the bulk of the Gaspé Peninsula's population, as well as the most interesting attractions of the region.
